No story. Just cuteness.
Well, no real story except to say that Amazon is now three days late in delivering the bird seed I ordered. When Bernadette (yes, she has a name now) stopped by for brunch the cupboard was bare. Being a resourceful gal she tried to reach the hanging dove feeder but caught her foot in the fencing and was literally hanging for a brief moment herself.
Darn Amazon.
Unfortunately it didn’t get any better from there. When she hopped over to the water source I’d set up for the birds she was intentionally buzzed by a low-flying, highly territorial crow. Twice. Who wouldn’t have given up at that point, I ask you?
Where’d you go Bernadette? I loved that movie.
